Cricklade House Hotel - Bar Launch

Cricklade House Hotel, a Sure Hotel by Best Western, launches new Bar and Restaurant.

On Thursday 29th November 2018 an event was held to celebrate the launch of the new Bar and Restaurant at Cricklade House Hotel a Sure Hotel by Best Western.

Over 120 attendees enjoyed an evening of great drinks, delicious food and entertainment from local singer/songwriter Dakota Simpson.

The guest list consisted of prominent businesses including Boeing, NFU Mutual and New College Swindon as well as local dignitaries including County Councillor Bob Jones, High Bailiff of Cricklade Court Leet Clive Smith and guest of honour Dr Aman Puri, Birmingham-based Consul General of India.

James Hemming, Operations Director for Cricklade House Hotel said “It was a pleasure to welcome local business leaders and distinguished guests to celebrate the launch of the Hotel’s new bar and restaurant; we are particularly thankful to Dr Puri for officially opening the bar.

“The bar and restaurant refurbishment marks the first milestone in the reincarnation of Cricklade House Hotel which will see around £1.5m invested in order to take the hotel to the 4-star market and provide a location in which local residents can be proud of.

“We have been delighted to forge a partnership with the Cotswolds Distillery and in turn introduce their products as house pours, delightful cocktails compiled by Head of Mixology Oliver Morris and flavoured coffees to a completely refurbished bar, featuring more than 100 whiskies and over 50 gins. In addition, Spring will see the launch of the ‘Cotswolds Gin Terrace’.”

Guests were able to sample the hotel’s new Tapas Menu as well as staple dishes from the Restaurant menu. Later in the evening, samples of the hotel’s new Festive Afternoon Tea were enjoyed.

The Consul General accompanied by Prof. Nat Puri CBE, founder of The Purico Group owners of Cricklade House Hotel, cut a ribbon to mark the official launch of the bar.

Cricklade House Hotel’s bar, restaurant, whiskey and gin selection, tapas menu and festive afternoon tea are all available now.
